WhoThe controller of your data.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Emilian, operating under the name WebGenArt. You can reach us about anything related to your data at webgenart@gmail.com.
WhatOnly what you choose to send.
What data we collect
- The quote form: the service you choose, your name, your email address, your message and, if you fill them in, a link and your preferred timing.
- Messages you send us by email, on WhatsApp or on the Facebook page, with whatever they contain (including your name, phone number or profile, as shown by that service).
- Technical data recorded automatically by the hosting provider when any page is loaded (such as your IP address, browser and the time of the request), used for security and to keep the site running.
Please don't send passwords or your customers' personal data through the form. If a project involves such data (for example, a customer list to clean), we agree separately and in writing on how it is transferred and protected.
WhyAnd on what legal basis.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and prepare a quote, at your request, before any contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- If you become a client: to carry out the agreed work and to meet legal accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Technical data: to protect the site against abuse and keep it working (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it, we don't build profiles and we don't make automated decisions about you. We don't send newsletters.
WhereThe services involved.
Who else processes it
- Netlify, Inc. (United States) hosts the site and receives and stores the form submissions.
- Google (Gmail) provides the webgenart@gmail.com mailbox, where requests and emails arrive.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you choose to send us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- Facebook (Meta) carries the messages you send to the WebGenArt Facebook page, under Facebook's own terms and privacy policy.
Both may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on the safeguards these providers offer under the GDPR (for example, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). The site loads no advertising or analytics tools and no fonts or scripts from other companies.
How longNo longer than needed.
How long we keep it
- Requests that don't lead to a project: up to 12 months after the last message, then deleted.
- Clients: for the duration of the project, and afterwards only what accounting law requires us to keep, for the period it requires.
- Technical data: for the period set by the hosting provider.
You can ask us to delete your request sooner at any time.
CookiesNone.
Cookies and storage in your browser
This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved only in your own browser (local storage, under the name wga-theme), so the next page opens in the same theme. It is never sent to us, and you can delete it from your browser settings.
Links to the demo sites and to Facebook open other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
SecurityHow the data is protected.
How we protect your data
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and loads no third-party scripts. Requests and project files are kept only in the services listed above and are not shared with anyone else. If you give us access to your website or files for a project, we use it only for the agreed work and ask you to change or revoke it once the work is finished.
Your rightsFree of charge.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to webgenart@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or with the authority in the country where you live.
ChangesAlways dated.
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle data changes (for example, a new service or a new provider), we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
